As I already mentioned, my name is Taylor. And if you've been with me for a while, you might have noticed something new around here...we have had a NAME CHANGE! What was once simply my name, is now Terra & Tide Photo Co. As my work and vision have grown, I realized my business needed a name that went deeper than just my own—it needed to reflect the soul of what I do. I wanted a name that felt just as rooted and intentional as the stories I capture.

The name Terra & Tide holds more than just words - it holds my story. It was inspired by my two boys, whose names anchor the heart of this business. Tide represents my oldest - thoughtful, emotional, deeply passionate, always in motion, and always sees the world with an open heart. He's constantly exploring, pulling us forward into growth and new places. Terra, meaning earth, reflects my youngest - bold, grounded, and wild in the most beautiful ways. The one who has taught us to pause, breath, and embrace the chaos of the moment. And uniquely enough, this name was born on the beautiful Amalfi Coast.

My recent trip to Italy was one that will forever live in my heart. The way the sea kissed the cliffs, the sun-washed textures of old stone walls, and the rooted beauty of everyday life, I felt something shift. I came home more present, more inspired, and more in love with simplicity and soul. Terra & Tide was born from that feeling - from the earth beneath your feet, and from the beauty of holding on and letting go.
